Call Me By Your Name is a romantic coming-of-age-drama based on the novel by André Aciman. It’s directed by Luca Guadagnino and is the third and final installment in his ‘Desire trilogy‘, following I Am Love and A Bigger Splash.

In the summer of 1983 in Northern Italy, Elio, (Timothée Chalamet) a 17-year-old American spends his days in his family’s villa transcribing music and flirting with his friend, Marzia (Esther Garrel).

Then along comes Oliver (Armie Hammer), a 24-year-old graduate student and research assistant to Elio’s father (Michael Stuhlbarg), an eminent professor. What transpires is a sensual and transcendent tale of first love and inevitable heartbreak.
